Poznań Districts - Interactive Map & Guide
Poznań has clearly different urban areas: from the historic centre to green estates and large residential districts.

Poznań is not divided into districts in the same formal way as Warsaw, but residents still use names such as Stare Miasto, Jeżyce, Grunwald, Wilda, Rataje and Winogrady every day. This guide shows the most important parts of Poznań on an interactive map.

    District character

    Centre and Stare Miasto

Stare Miasto works best for people who want services, restaurants, universities and culture nearby. The trade-off is higher prices, more traffic and fewer quiet streets.

    Jeżyce, Łazarz and Wilda

Jeżyce is popular for tenements, cafes and a local atmosphere. Łazarz benefits from the main station, the Poznań Fair and Wilson Park. Wilda is more residential, with ongoing revitalisation and good access to the centre.

    Grunwald and the west

Grunwald is a large and varied area: from urban blocks to calmer parts near Marcelin and Junikowo. It is often a good balance of infrastructure, greenery and commute time.

    Rataje, Nowe Miasto and Winogrady

Rataje and Nowe Miasto offer many flats in large estates, strong tram links and proximity to Malta. Winogrady is valued for Citadel Park, trams and practical everyday infrastructure.
