District Character
Ochota has a distinctly varied character with several notable areas:
- Filtry / Old Ochota – charming pre-war tenement houses, green courtyards and an old-Warsaw atmosphere. Close to Pole Mokotowskie.
- Plac Narutowicza area – the heart of Ochota. Trams, shops, restaurants and cafés. A student vibe thanks to nearby universities.
- Szczęśliwice – a quieter area with Szczęśliwicki Park and its ski slope. 1960s–80s blocks plus new developments.
